Competing against FBA sellers Read: 3006
Replies: 1
Amazon has made changes to how sellers compete with FBA sellers. Amazon is showing a buy box bias to FBA sellers making normal buy box removal from FBA sellers more difficult. A non-FBA seller must beat a FBA seller by a higher percentage and or dollar amount to take the buy box away.

For example, to take the buy box away from a standard seller, it may only take a 1% beat of their price, or if Amazon, perhaps a 3% beat of Amazon’s price, but now (as of mid-Feb 2013) it may take 10% or more beat to take the position away from a FBA seller.

CompetitorEye now allows a special global additional percentage and or exact dollar beat when competing against FBA sellers in the position you desire, this amount will be IN ADDITION to your standard formula and settings if it is determined that the seller is selling the item as FBA.

It is not recommended to use this option if you are an FBA seller since competition between other fba sellers doesn’t appear to have been effected. This is only for non-fba sellers.

To enable, simply provide an additional FBA % amount and or additional FBA $ amount in the formula section of Optimized Repricing.

Example:

Formula Settings: Beat Amazon by 2%,beat standard seller by 1%, additional FBA of 10%

If Buy Box owner is Amazon at $100
CEYE will attempt to make your delivered price $98 (beat by 2%)

If Buy Box owner is standard seller at $100
CEYE will attempt to make your delivered price $99 (Beat by 1%)

If Buy Box owner is standard seller and selling at FBA at $100
CEYE will attempt to make your delivered price $89 (Beat by 11% ; 1% standard and additional 10% if FBA)

Price lowering only occurs if greater than equal to you floor, if CEYE cannot beat by the additional FBA percentage or dollar amount, the standard formulas are applied as if the seller was not selling as FBA.

Amazon gets better from time to time and FBA is one of the best investment in Amazon for traders. FBA minimizes the work for the sellers and brings back the profit. I used a https:sellerseo.com to optimized my listing and it really gives an amazing result to my business.
