Optimized Pricing Defaults

Two new evaluation / match types exist.

  • Evaluate the 2nd lowest delivered price of the top 3 featured sellers.
  • Match the 2nd lowest delivered price of the top 3 featured sellers.


A new override has been given which can be used for matching or beating: “If I own the Buy Box, raise or lower my price to match the lowest delivered price of the top 3 featured sellers if >= floor. “

If checked, this tells the system to match the lowest featured sellers delivered price when you own the buy box. This is meant to help In the scenario where you matched a price to win the buy box, but the other sellers raised their pricing leaving you low. If your competing for the buy box position and you obtained it, many times you don’t want to stay at the lowest price of all your competition. This will create a see-saw effect of possible continual lowering to match the lowest seller of the top 3 featured sellers when it’s not you and raising back up when you re-obtain the buy box. Creating tremendous frustration for those attempting to analyze your repricing strategy and keeping your profits higher. However this also means you will not have the buy box at the lower price continually. It’s a give & take option.
