Monitoring / Repricing Strategies.

Although CompetitorEye can monitor/reprice all your products as quickly as every 15 minutes, many times it is not cost effective to do so with your entire product catalog. CompetitorEye’s monthly pricing is determined by the amount of work our system will do for you within the period of time and is calculated by the (Amount of ASINS to monitor) * (The amount of reports per week) * (4 weeks in a month)
For example, 1000 ASINS monitored once a day is 28,000 requests / possible price changes in a month – pricing is based on 28,000, whereas 5000 ASINS monitored 12 times a day is 1,680,000 requests / possible price changes in a month – pricing is based on 1,680,000. Although our system would do 60X the amount of work, your price would not be 60X as much. Volume discounting is applied.
However, depending on your budget, margins and business plan, even if only 20X the price it may be too much of a resource cost at this time for your organization, and depending on your product catalog, the majority of your items may not require as much monitoring as others.
CompetitorEye allows for multiple accounts and can even tie your accounts together for a single payment. This allows you to separate your products into “Groups” having a generally larger group of products monitored less frequently than the smaller “Hot items” account. This also allows you to use different settings and repricing rules per account.
If this strategy is something you are interested in, we recommend monitoring all products at least once a day or up to 4X if heavy competition, and your hot sellers more often, 12X a day, 24X a day, 44X, etc. using a separate account. Your “Hot Sellers” can only be determined by you, however we recommend at least 20% of your total product catalog should be considered your top sellers.
You can split into more than 2 accounts as well, and have any number of “smaller” accounts each with differing settings, rules and schedules. If tied together, you can also implement a one feed system for importing products to CompetitorEye where you supply a single feed with the account ID’s you want the items to go into.
You can create an additional account now by going to account creation or if you would like us to clone your current account and settings for you, simply let us know how many items you would like this account to monitor and we will get to work on setting it up for you.
