New Inventory file loading options Read: 2627

When reading from your Amazon inventory file, CompetitorEye could ascertain which items were standard items and which items were FBA (if you had selected “Interpret non numeric (blank) inventory as 'in-stock' FBA.”) however this only solved one portion of the import issue related to FBA, it still didn’t tell us if you really had that FBA item in a sellable location, and why monitor/reprice items you cant sell at the moment?

To solve this, CompetitorEye now allows the option of selecting which Amazon Inventory file to load.

  • Normal Inventory file
  • FBA Inventory file
  • Both
If both is selected, the normal inventory file will be loaded first, then any overlapping items will be overwritten with valid data from the FBA inventory file.

If you are selling FBA Items and have granted CompetitorEye read access to your inventory files it is recommended to deselect “During synchronization of 'Normal Inventory', interpret non numeric (blank) inventory as 'in-stock' FBA.” And to enable “FBA Inventory file” or “Both”

  • If your account is setup to monitor FBA items only, simply enable “FBA Inventory file”.
  • If your account is setup to monitor non-FBA only, simply enable “Normal Inventory file” and deselect “During synchronization of 'Normal Inventory', interpret non numeric (blank) inventory as 'in-stock' FBA.”
  • If you wish to monitor FBA and non FBA, select “Both” and deselect “During synchronization of 'Normal Inventory', interpret non numeric (blank) inventory as 'in-stock' FBA.”
